Covid-19 Corona: what measures does Aertssen Group take?

On March 13th 2020, Belgian authorities announced exceptional measures to limit a further spread of the Covid-19 virus and to protect the most vulnerable in our society. Aertssen Group actively participates in this.

Our services

At Aertssen Group we remain at your disposal. We are now focusing on our core business. All operational activities (transport, logistics, construction and lifting) are carried out as planned, in accordance with all obligatory precautionary measures.

We’ve organized ourselves to work from home as much as possible. All our employees are easily reachable on their regular mobile numbers as well as by email.  Those unable to telework will be physically separated as much as possible to ensure their well-being. 

What measures does Aertssen Group take, until further notice?

  • We created a task force, closely following all recent Covid-19 developments and updates;
  • All employees were briefed with clear precautionary instructions;
  • We encourage our employees to take their personal hygiene at home and at the workplace to heart;
  • We no longer shake hands and keep a minimum distance of 1.5 m;
  • Our offices and meeting rooms are closed for external visitors;
  • We communicate by email, telephone or through conference calls;
  • Internal and external meetings are organized through conference or video calls;
  • All training and internships are postponed;
  • Job interviews are conducted through conference or video calls;
  • Activities on our sites with external partners are postponed where possible;
  • Employees at risk are urged to work from home or even to stay home if teleworking is not possible.

In addition, the general hygiene protocols continue to apply to protect our valued employees, customers, suppliers , partners, etc …. It is our sincere wish that you, your family, your friends and your colleagues are safe and well and will follow all the necessary precautions to keep it that way.
