Aertssen Group donates laptops to schools in Kapellen
After the Easter holidays, students start online classes, but not every child has a computer at home. Therefore, Minister of Education Ben Weyts launched an appeal to provide students with a laptop. And of course Aertssen Group is happy to help!
Aertssen Group has been preparing 20 used laptops for secondary school students in Kapellen. Greg Aertssen, CEO: “With this donation, we want to help students follow online classes and complete assignments on a computer. We want to help and support all teachers and students in these challenging times. ”
Two weeks ago, Aertssen Group also donated masks to the surrounding municipalities, including Kapellen. Those masks have now been distributed to care providers of local nursing homes. “We are very grateful to have received this protective masks for our health care providers. Helping to protect their safety is a wonderful gesture. ” said Dirk Van Mechelen, mayor of Kapellen.
