In mid-June, Aertssen Transport transported four huge bridge elements from Ocquier, in the province of Luik, to the centre of Metz, France. This involved steel girders 40.5 m in length and weighing 41 tons. The most efficient way to move these was to load them onto a three-axle tractor combined with a four-axle dolly....

The course of removal was no less than 200 km long and traffic obstacles were removed temporarily throughout, with the trucks being accompanied by two support vehicles and two motor vehicles. The smooth cooperation of everyone involved in this project ensured that the transport could be completed in less than two days. A fine example of teamwork!
