Level 5 on the CO₂ Performance Ladder for Aertssen Group
On 23 August 2024, Aertssen Group obtained the CO₂ Performance Ladder Level 5 certificate. This achievement underlines our commitment to reducing CO₂ emissions and minimising our overall impact on the climate.

The CO₂ Performance Ladder
The CO₂ Performance Ladder is a carbon management system with five levels. Up to and including Level 3, organisations focus on reducing their own emissions. From Level 4 onwards, the focus expands to the entire value chain, including suppliers, subcontractors and partners.
In May 2022, Aertssen Group had already reached Level 3 in recognition of its efforts. At that time, the ambition was to achieve Level 5 — the highest level — by 2025. We have, however, reached this milestone a full year ahead of schedule, an achievement we can be proud of.
