SPMTs or Self-Propelled Modular Transporters are an extremely powerful and manoeuvrable solution to move the heaviest loads horizontally with precision. The compact modules can be linked in various ways to form a transport solution tailored to your load. Whether you want to transport oversized machine parts on your site or load or unload heavy loads at a terminal: our SPMTs bring all your loads exactly where they need to be.
Extremely accurate and powerful transport
Aertssen Cranes combines the modules of an SPMT into one transport solution that is fully tailored to the dimensions and weight of your load. The wheels of these modules rotate on their axis, making the SPMT extremely manoeuvrable. No transport challenge is too big for our machines, operators and engineers.
Split SPMT
Aertssen Cranes has developed an innovative Split SPMT concept for transporting oversized structures with a lower weight. In such cases, many regular SPMT modules were previously required to create a sufficiently large loading surface, although their additional load capacity was unnecessary. This entails higher costs and more pressure on the ground. With a Split SPMT you have a loading surface that is the same size but consists of fewer modules. You can link up to three modules of our Split SPMTs lengthwise, so that even the longest structures are no problem.
