Aertssen Infra is also active in quarrying and mining. A job we have already done for several national and international quarries and mines. Worldwide we remove the upper soil layers, before mining and sieving the underlying stone.
Carmeuse, Moha (Belgium) Quarry
The Carmeuse quarries in Moha dig for limestone. This is converted into lime for various industrial applications. The site plays a key role in the production of calcareous aggregates, as well as limestone and quicklime. In the quarry, Aertssen removes the top layers of soil that are unsuitable for production.
