Electric trucks for Aertssen Transport and Aertssen Infra Sud

The introduction of electric trucks underscores Aertssen Group’s commitment to sustainability, contributing to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly logistics sector. These new additions to the fleet represent a significant milestone in the ongoing pursuit of a climate-neutral business. The deployment of these electric trucks is scheduled for 2024.

DAF electric truck for Aertssen Transport

The newly acquired DAF electric truck for Aertssen Transport boasts a compact cab design. Significantly is its remarkable range of around 300 kilometers, facilitating environmentally friendly transportation of goods from our logistics site in Verrebroek to the ports of Antwerp and Zeebruges. This truck will primarily be dedicated to container transport a pivotal aspect of our logistics operations.

To ensure the constant readiness of the DAF electric truck , a special charging station will be installed at our logistics site in Verrebroek. This station will facilitate rapid and efficient charging, ensuring the seamless operation of our transport operations.

Volvo FH electric truck for Aertssen Infra Sud

In the coming year, our department in Hermalle-sous-Huy will also see the deployment of an electric model, opting for the Volvo FH, a fully electric truck with a range of up to 300 km on a single battery charge. This truck will be used for long-term projects at clients with fixed sites. Aertssen Infra Sud is also committed to installing charging points on its premises to support the electric truck’s charging needs.
